BBBY: What words best describe you?

CHISA: Courageous, tenacious, grateful, kind hearted and compassionate.

BBBY: Who is one of the most inspirational women in your life? And why?

CHISA: My Grandmother Margie Watts. She taught me my work ethic, was committed to excellence, a trail blazer and loved me unconditionally. She never gave up on me.

BBBY: What was the inspiration for starting your own business?

CHISA: Can you believe it a break-up! I was already in a season of loss: Job, home, finances, hope, personal freedom and identity . Having love walk away when I thought I was giving my best caused me to refine who I thought I was. The importance of connecting with other women and learning to not walk any journey alone was life changing.

BBBY: What is the mission behind your business?

CHISA: Creating space and community for women to connect and see each other. Move past assumptions, fears and judgements.

BBBY: What challenges did you face when starting your own business?

CHISA: MY own confidence. I believed in the mission because it had meaning for me. But my insecurity, fear and past failure said I couldn't do it, I wasn't enough.

BBBY: Do you have a life mission or inspirational quote that you live by?

CHISA: Beauty in...Beauty out!

BBBY: What inspires you to do what you do?

CHISA: Women who say they see themselves in my stories. Hearing women say I see you and I see you in me. We often think we are alone and we are actually so powerfully connected.

BBBY: Tell us about a time in your life, where you felt most powerful as a woman.

CHISA: I feel most powerful when I'm letting down my guard, becoming vulnerable, learning to love me as I am.

BBBY: What has made you most proud and why?

CHISA: when I gave myself permission for a restart. Allowing myself to be transparent with people who support, love and encourage me.

BBBY: What's the most important lesson you've learned as an entrepreneur?

CHISA: I'm equipped to do all things. And what I need is already in me.

BBBY: What are 3 tips you can share with aspiring entrepreneurs or someone ready to go after their dreams?

1.  Share your vision

2.  Collaborate with others with a shared vision

3.  Move past your fear and follow your heart.

BBBY: Fill in the blank: I feel most empowered when I:

CHISA: I feel most empowered when I move past the words "I can't" and hear myself say "I DID THAT"!
